Caesarstone Roofing: The Orlando Owner’s Guide
We stock and install Caesarstone-compatible roofing parts across Orlando, with most replacements running $400 – $1,800 installed depending on the panel size and the extent of the underlying damage. Most Orlando homeowners discover a failed Caesarstone roof panel the hard way: a water stain on the ceiling after an afternoon thunderstorm, or a soft spot underfoot during a gutter cleaning. The good news is that a single failed panel rarely means a full roof replacement. The bad news is that Florida’s humidity and UV exposure mean a patched panel that isn’t properly sealed will fail again within eighteen months.

Penhallow Remodeling Orlando is an independent service provider. We’re not affiliated with Caesarstone, but we work with their roofing product lines every week and keep the common replacement parts on hand or a day out from our Orlando suppliers.
Which Caesarstone Models This Applies To

Caesarstone’s roofing line splits into two series that Orlando homeowners commonly have: the original CS-R panel system (installed mostly 2005 – 2016) and the newer CS-R2 series with the interlocking edge profile. The difference matters because the two series don’t mix. If you have an older CS-R roof and try to fit an R2 panel into the gap, the locking channel sits 3mm too shallow and the seam will leak within the first heavy rain. We’ve fixed enough of those mismatched repairs in College Park and Winter Park to know the pattern.
To identify what you have, look at the underside of any exposed panel edge. The CS-R series has a single raised rib stamped with a four-digit date code. The CS-R2 has two parallel ribs and a six-digit code. If the panel is too weathered to read, measure the panel thickness: CS-R runs 22mm, CS-R2 runs 18mm. For OEM versus aftermarket, we default to Caesarstone OEM panels when the roof is under ten years old, because the color match is closer and the warranty stays intact. On older roofs where the original color has faded, a quality aftermarket panel color-matched to the current (faded) shade actually looks better than a factory-fresh OEM panel that stands out like a patch.

Signs Your Caesarstone Roofing Is Failing
- Ceiling stains that reappear after rain. This is the classic sign that water is getting past the panel surface and traveling along the substrate (the structural layer beneath the roofing) before dripping through. The stain usually shows up several feet away from the actual breach, which is why a quick dab of sealant at the stain never fixes it.
- Soft spots or springiness when you walk the roof. Florida’s wet-dry cycle does this. Water gets into the substrate through a hairline crack, the substrate swells, and the panel loses its rigidity. If you can feel movement underfoot, the substrate is compromised and the panel needs to come off, not just be sealed.
- Visible edge lifting or curled corners. The adhesive bond between panel and substrate breaks down from Orlando’s UV index and heat cycling. Once a corner lifts, wind-driven rain gets underneath and the lift accelerates. A lifted edge is a replace-soon situation, not a wait-and-see one.
- Granule loss or a chalky surface that won’t rinse clean. Caesarstone panels have a mineral topcoat. When it starts breaking down, you’ll see granules in your gutters and a dull, chalky film on the surface. The panel isn’t leaking yet, but it’s lost most of its UV protection and the clock is running.
- Gaps at the seams or between panels and flashing. Thermal expansion and contraction works the seams loose over years. The gap may be small, but Orlando’s afternoon downpours drive water sideways, and a 1/16-inch seam gap will pull water through by capillary action.

AfterReplacement Cost & What’s Included
Caesarstone roof panel replacement in Orlando runs $400 – $1,800 installed. The range breaks down by panel count, accessibility, and substrate condition. A single panel with good substrate underneath and easy ladder access sits at the low end. Multiple panels, a steep pitch, or substrate that needs cutting out and replacing pushes the number up.
| Scope | Typical Orlando Price |
|---|---|
| Single Caesarstone panel replacement (good substrate) | $400 – $800 |
| Two to three panels with minor substrate repair | $800 – $1,300 |
| Multiple panels with substrate replacement | $1,300 – $1,800 |
| Full roof replacement (Caesarstone or comparable) | $8,000 – $20,000 |
Every quote we give includes the panel, fasteners, sealant, substrate repair if needed, labor, and haul-away of the old material. The written price we hand you before work starts is the price on the invoice. We don’t do change orders unless you add scope, and if we miss something during the estimate, that’s on us, not on you. The 365-Day Done Right Promise covers every replacement: if the repair fails within a year, we come back and make it right at no charge, in writing.

DIY or Call Us?
Roof work is one of the few places where we’ll tell a homeowner to stay off the ladder. Orlando roofs are hot, often steep, and the consequences of a fall are not worth the few hundred dollars saved. That said, you can safely do the diagnostic part from the ground: take photos of any lifted edges, stained areas, or seam gaps, and check your gutters for granules. That information helps us quote accurately over the phone. What you shouldn’t do is climb up with a tube of sealant. We regularly follow DIY attempts where the sealant trapped water instead of keeping it out, and the resulting substrate rot tripled the repair cost. If you suspect a Caesarstone panel failure, call (850) 427-6454 and we’ll schedule a look. The estimate is free, and we’ll tell you honestly whether it’s a one-panel fix or something bigger.
FAQs

Caesarstone roof panels typically last 18 – 25 years in Orlando’s climate, but the intense UV exposure and wet-dry cycling mean the topcoat often starts breaking down around year 15. Homes with heavy tree cover or poor drainage see failures earlier. If your roof is past year 12 and you’re seeing granule loss, start budgeting for panel replacement rather than waiting for a visible leak. Call (850) 427-6454 and we’ll assess what you’re working with, no charge for the estimate.
Small cracks under six inches can sometimes be sealed if the substrate is dry and solid, but in our experience, a sealed crack on a Caesarstone panel in Orlando is a short-term patch, not a fix. The thermal expansion that opened the crack will re-open it. For anything larger than a hairline crack, a lifted edge, or a soft spot, replacement is the honest call. Call (850) 427-6454 and we’ll tell you which situation you have before you spend a dollar.
A single panel replacement on a Caesarstone roof takes four to six hours on site in most Orlando homes. Two to three panels with substrate work usually run a full day. The limiting factor is often material availability: OEM panels may take a few days from our supplier, while common aftermarket panels are usually next-day. We’ll give you a real arrival window and a written timeline before work starts.
We keep the common CS-R and CS-R2 fasteners, sealants, and flashing components on our trucks, and we maintain standing orders with Orlando suppliers for panel stock. If you need a specific panel, we can usually source it within one to three business days. We also stock compatible parts for KraftMaid, Cambria, and Silestone product lines, so if your project spans multiple surfaces, we can handle it in one visit.
If you’ve got a Caesarstone roof panel that’s failing, call (850) 427-6454. We’ll give you the number first, then pick up the tool. Trevor Nash started Penhallow Remodeling Orlando on that idea: tell people what the job costs and what it involves before anyone touches the roof, then do the work the way you’d want it done on your own house. Free estimates, written pricing, and a 365-day promise in writing.
