Bufftech Fence Installation: The Orlando Owner’s Guide
Bufftech fence installation in Orlando typically runs $3,500 – $9,000 for a complete project, with most panel-and-post replacements landing between $850 and $2,400 depending on the series and linear footage involved. We stock Bufftech-compatible posts, rails, and panels on our trucks, and in most cases we can match your existing product line, quote it in writing, and have the job scheduled within a few days. The typical call we get starts with either a failed post at ground level, a panel shifted out of its routed slot, or a gate pulling hard enough to scrape the concrete.

Here’s what you need to know before you spend a dollar on parts or labor for a Bufftech fence in Orlando.
Which Bufftech Models This Applies To

Bufftech vinyl and composite fencing comes in a handful of series, and the parts are not interchangeable across all of them. The most common lines we work on in Orlando are CertaGrain, Brookhaven, Georgetown, and the heavier commercial-grade Titan series. Each uses a specific post profile, rail routing, and panel thickness, and matching the wrong series is the single most common mistake we see from big-box “universal” replacements.
The easiest way to confirm what you have is to look inside the routed post cap or on the back face of the bottom rail. Older Bufftech posts have a stamped code near the top opening; newer ones carry a label on the inside of the post wall. If there’s no label, measure the post body: standard residential lines run 4″ x 4″ or 5″ x 5″, while Titan runs 6″ x 6″ commercial dimension. The panel tongue width at the routed edge is the other tell, and it differs by as little as 1/16″ between series. That 1/16″ is enough to make a panel sit loose in a rail.
On the OEM versus aftermarket question for Bufftech specifically: genuine Bufftech parts carry the original UV stabilizer package and color code, but Bufftech has discontinued several older color blends. When that happens, quality aftermarket profiles from a fabricator matched to your exact fade level are often the only route to a color match that doesn’t look like a patch. We’ll tell you plainly which way to go once we see the fence in person.

Signs Your Bufftech Fence Installation Is Failing
- The post wobbles at the base. In Orlando’s sandy, fast-draining soil, the concrete collar around the post can stay intact while the vinyl post sleeve works itself loose inside it. That’s usually a post-install issue from the original job, not a material failure.
- The rail has pulled out of the post routing slot. Heat expansion and contraction through our summer cycles slowly walks the routed rail end out of the post. If it’s more than 1/4″ proud on a cool winter morning, it’s already failed enough to belly the panel above it.
- The gate hangs hard on the hinge side. This is almost always a sagging post or a hinge that’s worked loose in the vinyl, not a stretched cable. When the post fails behind the hinge, the gate’s entire weight starts pulling against the routing instead of the footing.
- The panel looks fine, but the bottom rail whispers on the grass. Bufftech panels are routed on all four sides. Once the bottom rail loses its bite, the panel settles and every rain soaks the routed edge, which then swells and cracks.
- You can flex the midspan of a panel more than an inch with one hand. Vinyl panels are designed to flex some, but more than an inch of give at the middle usually means one of the rails has split open inside the routing and the panel is only hanging on at three edges.

AfterReplacement Cost & What’s Included
For a failing section, not a whole fence, figure $850 – $2,400 in Orlando for a single post replacement with re-routing of two panels, or up to $3,500 – $9,000 when you’re replacing most or all of the structure. The biggest cost drivers are the series (Titan and CertaGrain carry a price premium), whether we’re matching a discontinued color, and how many posts have actually failed below grade. A post that looks fine can be split under the concrete line, and we won’t know until we pull the old one.
| Work | Typical Installed Price in Orlando |
|---|---|
| Single Bufftech post replacement (post, concrete, re-route two panels) | $850 – $1,400 |

| Gate post(s) replacement with gate rehang | $950 – $1,800 |

| Full Bufftech fence install (new, full job) | $3,500 – $9,000 |

DIY or Call Us?
If you’re just checking, there are two things you can safely do on a Bufftech fence: pull the post cap and look at the panel seating inside the routing, and run a string line at the top rail to see which posts have moved. Both tell you something useful without touching the structure.
What’s riskier than it looks is pulling a post out of the ground and re-concreting it yourself. Bufftech posts are load-bearing elements even in non-gate runs, and a post set out of plumb by a single degree translates to a visible wave three panels down. If the post carries a gate, a failed re-set is a heavy object that will eventually swing into your driveway or through the panel beside it. The concrete mix, the post depth, and the set time all matter. Give us a call at (850) 427-6454 and we’ll tell you over the phone whether it genuinely needs pulling or whether the fix is simpler than it looks.
FAQs

A properly installed Bufftech fence should give you 20 to 25 years before the posts start degrading in Orlando’s heat and humidity, but the routed rail ends and post caps typically show age after 10 to 15 years because they’re the points that expand and contract the most. UV exposure here is relentless, and lighter colors fade faster on the west-facing side. Call (850) 427-6454 and we’ll look at which parts are actually failing before you replace any.
Not in a way that holds in Orlando’s summer heat. A routed post that has cracked at the rail opening has lost its structural continuity, and adhesives or fillers will separate again inside a year. The honest fix is a post replacement with new concrete, which is why we write the 365-Day Done Right Promise on that job type specifically.
Common series parts are on our trucks the same day. Discontinued colors or Titan series material usually take three to five business days to source, and we’ll tell you which bucket you’re in when we quote. Call (850) 427-6454 for the written price before anything gets ordered.
We stock Bufftech-compatible posts, rails, and panels for the common residential series, and we source specific or discontinued profiles for the rest. We also work with KraftMaid, Cambria, and Silestone product lines on the remodeling side, but the Bufftech fence stock is what our fence crews actually carry week to week.
If your Bufftech fence has failed at the post, rail, or gate, don’t guess at the series or the salvageability from a photo. Call (850) 427-6454 and we’ll walk you through the identification in two minutes, then give you a written price for the repair. The way I see it, the number comes first. Then we pick up the tool.
