Moen Driveway & Pavers: The Orlando Owner’s Guide

If you’re searching for Moen driveway and pavers in Orlando, here’s the straight answer: Moen doesn’t manufacture driveways or pavers, but we install paver driveway systems that pair beautifully with Moen’s outdoor fixtures and design language, and we’re one of the few Orlando contractors who can source Moen-compatible outdoor components alongside Belgard and Unilock pavers. A paver driveway in Orlando typically runs $7,000 – $18,000 installed, depending on square footage, paver grade, and how much prep the existing slab or soil needs. Most homeowners don’t discover a problem with their driveway until a paver sinks, a joint washes out, or water starts pooling against the garage slab after a heavy summer storm.

We see it all the time in College Park and Baldwin Park: a driveway that looked fine in January is suddenly holding water in July, and the homeowner assumes the pavers themselves failed. Usually it’s the base underneath. In Orlando’s sandy, fast-draining soil, a poorly compacted base shifts within two or three rainy seasons, and the pavers on top tell that story in the form of dips, cracks, and spreading joints.

We’re an independent Orlando contractor. We’re not affiliated with Moen, but we stock parts for Moen fixtures and we know how their outdoor product lines pair with hardscape work. If you have a Moen outdoor faucet, hose bib, or lighting fixture tied into your driveway or paver project, we can handle both the hardscape and the fixture work in one visit.

Which Moen Models This Applies To

A walk-in shower with large-format tile and a built-in niche

Here’s the compatibility reality: Moen’s catalog covers faucets, showerheads, valves, and a limited outdoor fixture line. They don’t make pavers, edging, or base materials. So when we talk about Moen driveway and pavers in Orlando, we’re talking about two overlapping jobs: the paver driveway itself, and any Moen outdoor plumbing fixtures that connect to it or sit adjacent to it.

The Moen models we most often work around in driveway and paver projects are the Moen outdoor faucet lines, particularly the frost-free sill cocks and the Moen Smart Water Shutoff kits that some Orlando homeowners install where the main water line enters near the driveway. If you have a Moen hose bib mounted on the garage wall facing your paver driveway, we can replace the bib, run a freeze-protection check, and reset the pavers around any drainage channel in the same visit. The key compatibility gotcha we see: Moen’s outdoor bibs use a 1/2-inch or 3/4-inch male thread inlet, and older Orlando homes built in the 1950s and 1960s often have galvanized supply stubs that have corroded. Threading a new Moen bib onto an old galvanized stub without inspecting the stub first is how you end up with a slow leak behind the wall six months later.

For the pavers themselves, we source Belgard and Unilock products because they carry their own manufacturer warranties and they’re proven in Florida’s heat and rainfall. The OEM-versus-aftermarket question for Moen is simple: use genuine Moen cartridges and seals inside Moen valves, but do not overpay for “Moen-branded” hardscape. It doesn’t exist. If someone quotes you a Moen paver, they’re selling you a label, not a product.

Signs Your Moen Driveway & Pavers Is Failing

  • Sinking or dipping pavers near the garage apron. This almost always means the base layer wasn’t compacted properly, or the original install skimped on crushed concrete or limestone base. In Orlando’s summer downpours, water gets under the pavers and accelerates the settling. We see this on driveways that are as little as four years old.
  • Widening joints between pavers. Polymeric sand in the joints is supposed to lock pavers together. Orlando’s UV exposure, which runs higher than most of the country from March through October, breaks down polymeric sand faster than manufacturers’ lab tests suggest. Joints wider than a quarter inch mean the sand has washed out and weeds are next.
  • Water pooling against the Moen hose bib or garage slab. If the driveway grade has shifted so water runs toward the house instead of toward the street or a drain, your Moen outdoor fixtures sitting at ground level become a liability. Constant moisture against any plumbing fixture’s mounting plate shortens its life.
  • Efflorescence stains on the paver surface. That white chalky film is salts leaching through from the base. It’s cosmetic in most cases, but in Orlando it often signals that the base has gotten saturated and the sand is migrating. Left alone, it becomes a structural problem.
  • A Moen outdoor faucet that drips more aggressively after a rain. Water following the fixture body back into the wall can indicate the bib wasn’t sealed with the right flashing or silicone at installation. It’s an easy fix when caught early, and it’s the kind of thing we include in a paver job when the bib needs replacing.

Replacement Cost & What’s Included

In Orlando, a paver driveway installation runs $7,000 – $18,000. The spread comes down to three things: square footage, paver style, and base conditions. A standard two-car driveway in a neighborhood like Delaney Park, roughly 500 – 600 square feet, with a mid-range Belgard paver, lands around $10,000 – $13,000. A larger circular drive in Dr. Phillips with a higher-end paver and more intricate border work pushes toward the top of that range.

Paver Driveway Component Typical Installed Cost in Orlando
Standard two-car paver driveway (500 – 600 sq ft, mid-grade paver) $10,000 – $13,000
Full excavation and base rebuild (when the old base failed) $2,000 – $3,500 added to the paver total
Decorative border course (contrasting color or pattern) $500 – $1,500 depending on perimeter
Moen outdoor hose bib replacement while driveway is open $150 – $450 including parts and resealing
Polymeric sand reapplication on existing joints $250 – $700 per driveway

Every paver driveway quote from Penhallow Remodeling includes the written price before work starts. No verbal ballpark. You get a line-item number covering excavation, base material, pavers, sand, edging, and any Moen fixture work we do along the way. The number on the first written page is the number on the invoice. And it carries our 365-Day Done Right Promise: if a paver shifts or a joint fails inside a year, we come back and fix it at no charge. That’s in writing, not a handshake.

DIY or Call Us?

Some driveway work is safe to inspect yourself. You can check your Moen outdoor faucet for drips, look for joints that have lost their sand, and note where water pools after a rain. None of that requires tools. But here’s where DIY goes wrong: an Orlando homeowner decides to re-sand the joints, buys the wrong grade of polymeric sand (Florida heat requires a specific temperature-tolerant blend), and ends up with a haze sealed onto the pavers that’s harder to remove than the original problem. Or they lift a few sunken pavers, add a bag of sand from the big box store, and now the surface is uneven and worse than before.

Driveway pavers sit on a structural base. When they fail, the fix is underneath, not on top. That’s not a weekend project. If you want to know whether your Moen fixture issue is connected to a drainage problem or a paver base problem, call us at (850) 427-6454.
